This is the second rent-a-suite (extended-stay facility) where my ceiling contained this warning. Don't hang stuff from the sprinkler. Well, I didn't want to hang something from the sprinkler until they warned me I couldn't! It's a daily struggle to keep a coat hanger from finding its way onto the sprinkler nozzle.
Somebody stop me!
